Inside the museum, over 200 superb works donated by the sculptor in 1969 and by his family, in 1984, after his death, are exhibited.<\/h3>\n<p>On the ground floor and on the first floor, original works and models, made in different materials and techniques, are exhibited. The subject matter is varied: allegorical works, frontal sketches, portraits, monumental compositions, etc. In front of the house, on the cliff, is the defining masterpiece of Ion Jalea: &quot;The archer resting&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1884 aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/ce-sa-vezi-constanta-tur-DSCN4855-650x487-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"487\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Made in the most diverse materials: plaster, bronze, stone or marble, his thematic cycles include allegorical, religious or mythological scenes, war or work scenes, nudes, portraits, peasant figures, culminating in his monumental works, all of which have passed through a personal filter that bypasses the easy and random in favor of a clear, classicizing form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><em>Here you can find the visiting schedule and the address of the Museum &quot;Ion Jalea&quot; Constan\u021ba:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Archbishop Street no. 26, Constanta<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The museum is open between 10:00 and 18:00 - in season, or between 09:00 and 17:00 - in the off-season.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>Park Hotel<\/strong>\u00a0supports the promotion of the city of Constan\u021ba and the resort of Mamaia, by providing all the necessary information to tourists and more.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MUZEUL ION JALEA\u00a0este unul dintre pu\u0163inele edificii culturale din \u0163ara noastr\u0103 dedicate exclusiv sculpturii.
